Inject some sweetness into your life with these deliciously sweet cocktails!
They’re bright, playful, and sure to make you feel like you’re on vacation.
Every drink is just the right amount of boozy and 100% worth the calories. Better yet, they’re guaranteed to make your next party one to remember.
As much as I love robust cocktails like an Old Fashioned, I usually lean towards sweeter drinks.
Why? Because they’re easy sippers and normally aren’t as strong. That means you can have two or three without feeling too buzzed.
If that sounds like you, check out these gorgeous, sweet cocktails.
1. Porn Star Martini
I’m starting this list with one of my all-time favorite cocktails- the Porn Star Martini.
This provocatively-named drink has nothing to do with the adult film industry.
Instead, the name was chosen to invoke intrigue, boldness, and indulgence. All of which fit the fantastic flavor profile of this martini.
And it’s a two-drinks-for-one package. This delicious, tropical, passion fruit and vanilla cocktail comes with Prosecco (on the side).
Each sip of the martini is fresh and tart, with plenty of sweetness. The side of Prosecco adds a fun effervescence and some dryness to cut the sweet.
2. Homemade Peach Lime Margaritas
Few things can beat a classic margarita. But they’re not really sweet. Not like this peach and lime margarita!
This recipe features all the best margarita ingredients, like Silver tequila, simple syrup, and triple sec.
But the star of the show is the peach and lime puree. It is so sweet and refreshing, you’ll be ready for a second before you know it.
Rim the glass with sugar and lime, and get sipping! These are perfect for your next barbecue or Taco Tuesday.
3. Amaretto Sour
If you think citrus and almond are a weird combination, think again! This vibrant drink proves just how yummy the two are together.
It’s an Amaretto cocktail, which means you’ll get plenty of sweet almond and undertones of cherry.
Meanwhile, the citrus sour mix brings in some brightness to balance it out.
So, every sip has a deep, rich flavor with plenty of sunshine.
4. Clover Club
This pretty pink drink will make your taste buds tingle in delight.
You’ll make it with high-quality gin, raspberry syrup, lemon juice, and egg whites.
Every sip is sweet, fruity, tart, and earthy. It’s perfect.
The egg whites add a silkiness that makes this drink go down easy. Real easy. But you can leave them out if you prefer.
5. Mai Tai
When I think of tiki drinks, I think of Mai Tais.
It’s a simple drink featuring Orgeat syrup, aged rum, simple syrup, orange curacao, and lime.
Add all the ingredients (plus ice) to a cocktail shaker and let ‘er rip!
That’s it. Pour it into a glass with ice and you’ll have a sweet and fruity drink with some floral nuttiness. How good does that sound?!
6. Caramel Apple Martini
Between the vodka, sour apple schnapps, and butterscotch schnapps, this one is bright, zingy, and smooth as can be.
Rim the glass with caramel syrup and it’s like your favorite fair food in a glass.
7. Tequila Sunrise
One look at this cocktail, and you see where it gets its name.
It has ombre layers of vibrant, warm colors. Lucky for us, those colors taste fantastic, too!
Obviously, the base of this drink uses tequila. But it also has orange juice and grenadine for the ideal amount of fruity sweetness.
Serve over ice with an orange slice, and enjoy!
8. Piña Colada
If you like piña coladas (and sudden rain storms) – you’re in the right place.
This fan-favorite recipe will whisk your taste buds to the beach (maybe the Cape?).
It’s tropical, boozy, and pleasing to pretty much any palette.
After all, you can’t beat the fresh tastes of cream of coconut, pineapple, and rum.
9. Chocolate Martini
Dark, decadent, and sensual, this homemade chocolate martini is not one to miss.
Between the chocolate liqueur, Irish cream, and Creme de Cacao, it’s rich and luxurious.
Add some vodka for boozy warmth, and it’ll quickly become your date night go-to.
10. Painkiller
Whether or not it takes pain away is still to be determined. But I can say that the Painkiller will tickle your taste buds.
This drink is much like the piña colada. But there are a few key differences.
You’ll need Pusser’s Rum to make it authentic. And there’s also orange juice in the mix.
But the final and most significant difference is that the Painkiller has nutmeg on top. It’s unique, and so tasty!
11. Blue Lagoon Cocktail
This sweet drink is icy cold and incredibly refreshing.
And that vibrant blue color isn’t just for show! It comes from the blue curaçao, making it delightfully citrusy.
There’s lemonade in this one, too. So it is a bit more tart than some of the other recipes.
But don’t worry! That orange-infused blue liquor brings plenty of sweetness to keep it balanced.
12. Tropical Passion Fruit Moscow Mules
“Tropical” and “Moscow” are words you rarely see in the same sentence. Yet, here we are – and it sure is delicious!
We’re taking the classic Moscow Mule on a vacation.
This fruity delight features pineapple (or coconut) vodka, lime syrup, mint, and ginger beer.
But my favorite part is the fresh passion fruit pulp. It tastes so yummy with the mule ingredients.
13. Sloe Gin Fizz
If you like sweet cocktails but need something with gin, the sloe gin fizz is just the thing.
Sloe gin is sweeter than regular gin (it’s actually a gin-based liqueur), thanks to the sloe drupes (berries).
This fizzy drink is bubbly, sweet, and full of flavor. And that bright red color doesn’t hurt!
14. Hurricane Cocktail
Looking for a cocktail with a whirlwind of flavors? Try the Hurricane!
Featuring dark and white rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and grenadine, it’s fruity, tropical, and boozy.
Of course, you must serve this boozy beverage in a hurricane glass. Or else, it’s not a hurricane.
Garnish it with maraschino cherries and an orange wedge.
15. Strawberry Daiquiri
This colorful daiquiri tastes as fantastic as it looks.
It’s a little different from the frozen drinks you’ll find on vacation. But the lack of ice makes it so much more flavorful!
That said, you can make the drink and blitz it with ice (or frozen strawberries) if you prefer.
16. Hippie Juice
Hi Barbie! How fun is this bright pink drink?!
Loaded with watermelon vodka, coconut rum, and pink lemonade, it’s also sweet as can be.
Trust me, one batch of this isn’t enough. So be sure to make extra if you’re having a party.
And don’t forget the cute straws!
17. White Russian
Are you a coffee drinker? Then, the White Russian is the cocktail for you!
It’s like a sweet iced latte – with booze! Mix Kahlua coffee liqueur with vodka and cream. Serve it over ice and enjoy.
It’s great for brunch or a late-night pick-me-up!
18. Rum Swizzle
Whisk your taste buds to paradise with this gorgeous Rum Swizzle.
Dark rum is known for its sweetness. And that’s even more true when you use Goslings Black Seal Dark Rum.
Add some orange juice, pineapple juice, and grenadine, and this is a sweet drink for every occasion.
All you need now is a tiny paper umbrella!
19. White Christmas Margarita
Most of these sweet cocktails are perfect for the summer. But this White Christmas Margarita is ideal for the holidays.
Like any good margarita recipe, you’ll need tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Not very sweet, I know.
That’s where the cream of coconut comes in! It transforms the usually zingy drink into something smooth, sweet, and sultry.
20. Grasshopper Cocktail
Don’t worry. There are no bugs in this drink recipe. It just has a lovely grasshopper green color.
This drink tastes like liquefied Andes candies! That’s sweet, minty, and chocolatey!
You’ll need Creme de Cacao, Creme de Menthe, and cream. Plus some chocolate garnishes, if you like.
Think of it like a boozy mint chocolate milkshake. Yum!
21. Bahama Mama
If I could bottle up a taste of vacation, it would be just like this drink.
Given the name, you won’t be surprised to here it features coconut rum and tropical pineapple juice.
There’s also orange juice and more rum to ensure it’s boozy.
22. Frosé (Frozen Rosé)
Rosé wine plus frozen strawberries and a spoonful of sugar = summer cocktail heaven.
It’s my favorite way to cool down by the pool. Mostly because it lasts way longer than any glass of wine.
I use dry rosé because the fruit adds plenty of sweetness. But use whatever you prefer!
23. Frozen Mudslide
Drinks and dessert in one recipe? Yes, please!
This Frozen Mudslide is pretty much an adult milkshake. And it is the best way to treat yourself after a busy day.
Kahlua, Baileys, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate syrup- what more can you want? How about vodka, whipped cream, and sprinkles?
Sounds fabulous to me.
I love this drink- and if you have taste buds, you will love it, too.
24. Pumpkin Martini
Do you wait all year for Starbucks pumpkin spice latte? Then you need to make this pumpkin martini!
It’s like pumpkin pie in drink form. And thanks to the vanilla vodka and Baileys, it’s sweet like dessert.
The graham cracker rim is optional. But really, it make this drink extra special!
25. Bellini
I love mimosas at brunch. But when I want something sweet, I go for the Bellini.
It’s more or less the same drink – Prosecco and juice. But you’ll use peach instead.
And as you may know, peaches are way sweeter than oranges. Especially when they’re ripe!
Plus, you can add extra peach puree if you want it sweeter.
