Can fat free mayo and greek yogurt replace regular mayo and sour cream in order to cut some of the fat down. I love blue cheese; however, my cholesterol and triglyceride levels are high unfortunately. Just wondered if anybody had replaced these 2 ingredients; and if so, what the outcome turned out to be for them.
Hi Marisela, you can swap in fat free mayo and Greek yogurt, but it will change the taste and texture of the dip. It won’t be as rich and Greek yogurt is slightly tangier. I recommend starting with 1/2 cup of each, then adding them little by little and tasting as you go until it’s how you like it.
